Parachute Festival has now been and gone. It was our first taste of New Zealand and we want more! Maybe an acoustic tour later in the year? Being our first performance at the festival (and in NZ), it was fantastic to have the opportunity to play the Main Stage and the second largest venue, the Palladium. I must admit, though, that a highlight for me was one of our spots in the Supportas' Cafe. It was great to meet so many people. Some comments from the locals about us: "I didn't know Australia produced such fantastic music". "The best kept secret of the festival" (for those who didn't catch our sets -- smile); and simply, "Real good!". Thanks NZ for such a warm welcome... it's a pity the surf didn't treat us the same :(. I'm sure the winds will blow the right direction next time. |

Thanks to all the die-hard fans who made it to the 'Dragging the Lakes' final... the result couldn't have been better. Out of all the bands we had the most people come to see us; and we came out on top! The show went really well with Melodic Management making particular comment about the quality and delivery of the song "Time to Breathe". We have since had a number of meeting with Melodic discussing development ideas and going over some new songs. How far will the relationship go? Stay tuned!!! In January we head to New Zealand for our first 'international' performances as a band. If you happen to be in the area, come and support us at the Parachute Festival in Hamilton (late January). |

Out of 27 bands that show cased for Melodic Music Management last month, we have been selected with four others to play again. Thanks to those who came to our performance at the Rob Roy! Your energy made the night -- vibe on! We are booked to let it all out again on October 20th (Friday night) at the Greyhound Hotel. This is a show not to be missed. We know that you (the supporters) are VITAL in creating the atmosphere for our shows. It would be fantastic to have you as part of this event. Pre-purchase a ticket from any of us band members.
