Thanks to all the die-hard fans who made it to the 'Dragging the Lakes' final... the result couldn't have been better. Out of all the bands we had the most people come to see us; and we came out on top! The show went really well with Melodic Management making particular comment about the quality and delivery of the song "Time to Breathe". We have since had a number of meeting with Melodic discussing development ideas and going over some new songs. How far will the relationship go? Stay tuned!!! In January we head to New Zealand for our first 'international' performances as a band. If you happen to be in the area, come and support us at the Parachute Festival in Hamilton (late January). |

Out of 27 bands that show cased for Melodic Music Management last month, we have been selected with four others to play again. Thanks to those who came to our performance at the Rob Roy! Your energy made the night -- vibe on! We are booked to let it all out again on October 20th (Friday night) at the Greyhound Hotel. This is a show not to be missed. We know that you (the supporters) are VITAL in creating the atmosphere for our shows. It would be fantastic to have you as part of this event. Pre-purchase a ticket from any of us band members. We have a new bass player! Meet Tavis at one of the gigs coming up. He's an amazing player and rivals Grey with his charming good looks. Not only are we performing on mainstage at Blackstump this September, we're also keeping it intimate with some really 'close-up' gigs (so close you could catch the sweat as it drips from our foreheads). Yuk! Or maybe... Anyway, get yourself down to one of these gigs if you're in Melbourne. September 13 is a showcase gig for management. Come and help us make a good impression. At this gig we will have great prices on our merchandise and cds. It will be worth the trip! Also, thanks to the guys we met at the Mark Seymor support we did in Geelong last weekend. You guys are the bees knees! Thanks for enjoying the music, taking the time to tell us... and buying our stuff! You make it all worth while. |
